MEADOW PIPIT AND TANKERS

I got through some big outstanding chores today, so rewarded myself with a late afternoon walk at the other cemetery, Spion Kop on the clifftop. Meadow pipits and skylarks both nest there and both try to distract by flying up and singing, and then running along the wall, or sitting on the headstones to divert attention away from the nests. The skylarks win the singing competition though.
