Nocturnal visitor

Neil found this lovely moth ( a Common Swift) in his room today ..... our moth trapping has been very thin on the ground this year ..... most moth trappers I know are finding the same ..... the result of a much wetter and colder May than usual but better weather on the way now so we’ve put the trap out again tonight.
We spent a lovely afternoon with friends today at a BBQ in the sunshine :)
