Threave

I’ve had a busy few days with my partner and his parents so am behind with my blipfotos, so I’m catching up now! The weather has been lovely for their visit.
Today we went to Threave estate to view the magnificent ospreys across the river Dee. We were lucky enough to see the breeding pair on the nest platform. We also spotted a perigrine falcon on Threave Castle.
We went for lunch at Designs Cafe in Castle Douglas and then headed to Threave Gardens for a walk around the beautiful gardens.
