The end of the early shift

Around 4pm is the end of the early shift. Some of our elderly feel to go home around this time. They call it the sundown syndrome. Around that time a certain restlessness arises and they want to go home for taking care of children husband..It is somehow a sad situation but also difficult for us care takers. Telling the truth doesn t help . We have to improvise and postpone with an improvised story or divide their attention , taking them for a moment outside.
