Different clay

This is (mostly) a different black clay. The bottle on the left is in fact white clay with iron oxide glaze which conceals a variety of other attempts to make it more interesting. Colour-wise, this clay is maybe a bit boring. It's less gritty than the other - so a bit smoother. I lost the two big bowls to the kiln. One base exploded, in spite of being, I thought, well dried. The other cracked.
