Fixing Daddy
The youngest has a little routine each day, he climbs up to reach the medicine box (that is supposed to be high-up and out of their way), gets out the plasters and put a plaster on Daddy's chest. It's all very touching.
Exhausted, happy children this evening. A rather late night and then a day out with Granny and Grandpa. The youngest was especially tired when I collected him. Both had had a wonderful time and did not want to come home. After some respite (Kindle games) at home, they went off to a local park with our neighbour - giving me time to wash the floor and various other unglamorous, but much needed tasks.
Today I'm grateful for:
The boys having a sleep over - and by all accounts having a brilliant time (and being really well behaved)
Our lovely neighbour who spent an hour and a half with the boys and treated them to an ice-cream
A morning with the husband, then some shopping in Stamford for me
The husband taking the dog for a short walk alone - it's quite a step, he's doing so well.
