Mountain magic
A big day today. Four Munro’s from a walk in Glen Lyon. Plus a 22 mile round trip bike ride from the campsite to the tiny car park which as expected was full. It was glorious weather and extensive views over to many more mountains including the snowy tops of the Cairngorms and Ben Nevis. The last two miles of cycling back up hill to Sula did nearly finish me off. I was especially happy to find the purple saxifrage flowers near the last summit - for the UK a rare arctic alpine flower confined to the highest tops in Scotland.
