Bella in the Rose Garden Again

Eight days after our last visit, this was like being in another part of the world entirely. This time it was 91F/33C, blazing sun. Her dad is home from his week of rehearsals and their first show, for which 10,000 people showed up! We went back to the garden with the whole family, including Felix (on leash, of course). I love this quiet moment of Bella contemplating the roses. Their fragrances are much less intense in hot sun than they are in rain. Did everyone know that but me?

Cristina made a few photos of me horsing around with the two children (Extra). Seth feels optimistic about concerts and tours this summer. It looks like he's going to have more work than in a normal year, which is great, if there's no new spike in Covid. I’m glad he’s fully vaccinated.
