Long time no see!

We had a long awaited visit to Barry's parents today. We just went for a long lunch, 4 hours, as that is about their time limit for a visit now they are into their 90's. You can tell they start to flag and need a snooze in the armchair or at the very least some peace and quiet! I took homemade quiche and bread for lunch which we had with salad. It was lovely to spend time with them and I came away with a clump of Ibiris to split and plant in my garden. They have a gardener to help out now as they love their garden and have always kept it immaculate. Apart from that they manage in their own home with everything else, with shopping deliveries, as they can't get out and about now. I think they do amazingly well!
