the blumen are blooming

hard to be in a bad mood when the sun shines and the temperature is tolerable.

i noticed today, for the first time, that green is starting to color this bleak land. and its exciting. its always exciting to notice. and to wait. and watch. spring is coming. it must be. its nearly the end of april...

so these flowers. its probably impossible to articulate how seeing them made me feel. they just bloom. all across the yard. all by themselves. a staple to my childhood. id like to rest among these flowers. just rest.
