Painted on a dustbin  lid and placed at the end of Gibson Way.in memory of Guy Penrose Gibson who led the  Danbusters raid in 1943.his mothers family came from Porthleven. I notice it this morning on the way down to the village.blue sky and sunny and very busy youngsters enjoying themselves in the outer harbour.  My friend Yvonne phoned me so we had a good chat keeping up-to-date with local news.this afternoon it has clouded in .I am going to make a banana cake has I dont have any cake left in the tin.
