Hedgerow

It is so good having all the doors and windows open with fresh air blowing through the house. Yesterday afternoon my friends came here to play Mahjong and although we played indoors, the doors and windows were open. Once we had played a few games, we went outside for tea and cakes. R brought a fruit cake and J brought lemon drizzle, both delicious. They left the left overs for our cake tin, so kind. However, having lost a lot of weight over the past year, it is beginning to creep back up again, so I must be careful.
I went out in the car this morning to run a few errands, and was attracted by this roadside bank.
