Close up on the critter

Jill and I walked to the spot where I saw a bunch of cicadas yesterday. I brought the macro lens for hilarious photography. I love these things. They are fun looking, loud and abundant. Just what I want in life?

So now you get to look at its face in all its glory. Though this macro lens is hard to shoot with. It doesn't focus properly. Also, my sensor is dirty. I need to use my air blower (not compressed air) to give it a quick clean.
