Water Bridge over Water

The day didn't quite go as planned, but no dramas so no big deal.

Weather was gorgeous to start with but then has been spotting and threatening some stormy weather.  Nothing has showed up yet.

Went for a quick power ramble, curtailed by the big spots that started to come down.  I'd always thought this bridge was a pedestrian but it turns out it actually takes water coming down from the mountain across the canal and into the river.  I never knew.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A book delivery, the latest M.W.Craven Poe and Tilly book.  If you've not read the series, get on it, absolutely brilliant
2.  A delicious salmon and potato bread tea
3.  A good power ramble
