Lydney Park

Only 30 minutes from home this garden is only open a few days a year, it close on Sunday. The Rhodos/Azaleas are quite wonderful and there is a Roman Temple and Bath House in case you don't like flowers. Unfortunately the house was closed, so no cake. The history is intersting and involves New Zealand because one of the owners was a former Governer General.
