South Side

Very early start with the intention of dropping Rachel into Schull and taking the car for it's NCT. Alas the car stop light came on at the bottom of the track, it had been a freezing cold night and I had forgotten to put any antifreeze in the water. tried a kettle of boiling water and it did the trick! Just made the appointment but the car failed on quite a few things!
Back home to enjoy a cold but wonderfully sunny day, at last. Sowed some more seeds, cut some spindly gorse, the donkeys love to eat the prickly tops. The farrier came and trimmed their feet, a three monthly task. Cuppa and chocolate brownies with freespiral, card business to discuss, then off back to Schull to collect Rachel, my blip was on the way over, the south side of the peninsula, Rachel was inspired by the sunset on our way home and has joined blip!!
