Another past concert programme & ticket memento from my photo book.


Twice (so far) I’ve seen Elton John playing live. Third time not so lucky as another Covid casualty – hopefully will get to see his rescheduled Hydro date later this year on his farewell tour.


As shown on this page from my book – 1989 in Edinburgh and 2011 in Glasgow. I see that the Edinburgh ticket mentions Nik Kershaw as support; can’t say I remember that. I do remember that on both occasions Elton lived up to his showman reputation.
