Parenting

A wonderful hot and sunny day.
I called my mam in the morning. It's her 74th birthday. She is well even though my idiot anti-vaxxer brother was there.
I decided to go to the nature reserve and check on the swans on my way back. They are both very attentive and successful parents who nest here every year.
I think they successfully raised about nine cygnets last year. I don't think there are that many eggs this year and they nested late. But better late than never.
I had a successful call with a mortgage advisor for an hour so that's sorted for another five years.
I enjoyed a couple of Brewdogs in the park while listening to my History Of Rome podcasts and now I am watching England v Austria. All in all a good day.
