Rosie and Stuart

Good day at work today although rather sad. A team of tree surgeons were on the college front lawn taking down a very old (at least 400 years) giant sycamore tree. Unfortunately it was diseased. It was fascinating watching the surgeons at work.
Raced home as my niece and her boyfriend are visiting from London. They’re in Edinburgh for a few days. It turns out Stuart (my niece’s boyfriend) proposed to her at the top of Arthur’s Seat yesterday so now he’s her fiancé not boyfriend! We celebrated with bubbly and a bbq!
