Best foot forward .....

An early start this morning to get things fed before Roy C the foot trimmer man arrived at 7 am to do a couple of bulls.
The first one was George , the blonde bull who I wouldn’t trust as far as I could chuck him. Eventually persuaded him into the crate then when he was finished , straight into the trailer and out to the bull field.
Same carry on with the limousin who got wound up and put Kev out the shed ! Eventually got him into the crate by letting an old cow in beside him and letting her go first so he would follow. Same thing when he was finished , into the trailer and out to the field. That’s 8 bulls out there now so no doubt there will be a bit of noise until they sort out the new pecking order.
Spent the rest of the morning spreading dung again .
A trip to the opticians with junior after lunch then back in time for the delivery of the bulling heifers we bought last week. Hopefully they will settle down as they certainly came out the trailer at full speed !
