And this is how it happened...

I stopped to chat to a local walker who I haven't caught up with for a while. He told me about a deer in the road right outside his house one morning.  With horns.  "I've never seen a local deer with horns," I told him. A short while later, nearing home, I passed a man who asked me how the photography was going.  "Oh, bits and bobs," I said.  

No more than six steps later, I turned to the right and spotted this fella. 
With horns!  

I turned round to tell him but he'd marched a bit too far for me to shout.
