Homeward bound

We left Plett early this morning to be back in time for our friend's memorial.
On route we had two long stops at road works. At least this one was interesting.
And now I start counting sleeps (5) until I see daughter P who is at last flying home for a holiday from New York. She insists on isolating for a few days and being tested before she sees us even though she doesn't have to, She is arriving earlier than we have told hubby, so it will be a wonderful surprise for him!! I must buy some groceries and get them to the self catering accommodation where she will be staying. Luckily she will still be working so it won't be too bad. Technology means that she can stay for nearly three months but still work at times. 
I'm doing a happy dance!!
