Baby Lavender
For a while I've been buying herbs from a farm in Essex. They're great - lovely sturdy plants, beautifully packed and speedily delivered. Last week I stumbled upon somewhere much, much nearer and thought I'd give it a go. It doesn't have such a range and the plants are a lot smaller but today a delivery arrived. I thought I'd ordered 10 hidcote lavender plug plants but it turned out to be 20. Here are five of the babies in their snug parcel. They look very healthy and I've now planted them into pots to grow them on. Hope they turn out well.
I was booked to work today and I did, but only till 2pm. Such an efficient team and agreement between everyone. I'm working again tomorrow and have more prep to do for that. Time in the garden is therefore being strictly rationed but I'm glad I got the lavender plants sorted.
