Home sweet home

This magnificent tree is in Lady’s Wood, one of the local Wildlife Trust’s ancient coppiced woods. Lots of the wood’s ash trees had multiple trunks and huge holes in the base - I mean is this a hobbit hole or what? This one seemed like a high rise with the nest box further up.
Yet another fantastic walk around somewhere I’d never come across before the lockdowns, even though only 10 miles away. Result!
