Pendragon Castle, Mallerstang

Took this photo on my way back from The Lakes. It is one of The Clifford Family’s Castles which also includes Skipton Castle, Brought Castle, Appleby Castle and Brougham Castle. Lady Anne Clifford was responsible for their restoration and upkeep and there is a footpath called Lady Anne Cliffords Way which starts in Skipton and takes in the others.
