Littlehampton

I just back blipped a load of photos. I'm still struggling to post daily. We had a lovely day at the beach today. A day trip with my two sisters, the cousins and my late Nan's husband who we call Grandpa.

We all enjoyed a good paddle in the sea, icecream and chips. It was a little windy but still sunny and the water was warm. Unfortunately no John as he had to work.

I got stung by a small bee! I felt something on my leg and went to brush whatever it was off without looking and it stung me, leaving itself half hanging on me. It wasnt really that painful, I think because I was brushing it off as it stung and so it only just broke the surface of my skin. 41 years without ever being stung by a bee or wasp until today!

I'm now exhauated and ready for bed, but the girls slept on the drive home so they are full of beans still. I'm ready to collapse!

I have accepted a 6 month contract at a firm I first trained with 20+ years ago. They need someone to act as a 'pressure value' as their team are so busy and so need some more support. I always liked working there and I only left to go travelling and so I'm quite pleased to be going back. It gives me a little more time to work out what I want to do, and maybe I'll love it and they'll extend the contract.
