Sorrel

There is lots of sorrel in the mini meadow just now and I do like the range of reds and pinks and browns when you get up close to it.  It's a bit of a favourite with the goldfinches but I've never managed to have the camera to hand when they are feeding.  Plus the feeders in the elder tree are close by which offer an easier to get meal.  

I was out for a walk with friend Angela this morning and then it was time to catch up with a few jobs on the computer.  After lunch Tony and I walked down to the village to map the Memorial Park in readiness for some orienteering with a class from the local primary school next week.
