Bye bye.

We're all sad to be heading home tomorrow. After all this time in lockdown it's been wonderful to be together for a whole week. The weather has been more than kind, and all my worries that Kiri would not cope have proved unfounded. On the contrary, she's thrived at being in a new place, and seeing more family members together. She's loved mooching round the shared garden, and flirting with the black Labrador a few doors down. The park is conveniently situated at the end of the garden, the coastal path just a few yards from the cottage. A well stocked shop right next door, and a deli and coffee shop two doors further down. This is the perfect pitch for us.

We can't wait to return next year.
