       I didn't go out early mainly because I didn't rouse from sleep til nearly six this morning. A warm day spent doing nothing much. Kiki only wanted a short walk around the block this evening.

       I've been keeping a watchful eye on the windscreen/shield of the Mazda. I had a star chip repaired in January; unfortunately a small crack ran out from the repair and today with the hotter weather the crack ran out large enough to be dangerous and warrant a complete replacement which means re-calibrating the forward camera. I have an appointment next Thursday. The replacement of the windscreen and re-calibration of the camera will take up to three hours . . . isn't modern technology a pain sometimes.
