A park I’ve never seen before
I was driving back from a friends house this morning, and I stopped to get a blip of the mural on the gable end - in the extra - as I thought it was bright and cheery. I couldn’t get all of it without standing in the road - not a good plan. Included with it is a glimpse of a much seen phenomenon in Bristol these days - scooters for hire. There’s thousands of them. I think you have an account on your phone, and just pick one up and go wherever you need, and then leave it. Some of the riders go on the pavement, some in bike lanes. If they’re using these instead of a car, I’m happy. I haven’t had a go yet, but I might try. They go up really steep hills without difficulty. Appealing:-)
Then I found a park which I knew existed, but had never visited. It’s really beautiful, lots of different play areas and activities for children, and a lake. These Canada goslings are getting independent and confident - they were whizzing along in front of their mum - and going so fast they left quite a wake behind them.
Was feeling a bit sad about something this morning - but when I went into the park I was thinking - what shall I take to show them today? And of course then you don’t feel alone - as all your blip followers are there with you! Interesting - I hadn’t quite seen it like that before
