It's been a productive day...

Lots of paperwork sorted and an important bit not. :(

Saw friends, got help with the sortable paperwork.
Had non-alcoholic pre-lunch drink in convivial surroundings (ok, there were small dishes of roast potatoes on sticks - what could be more convivial than that?)...

Ferried The Child to stuff after lunch and then it was back to friends to do *work*. Retrieved The Child and then went to buy birthday cakes and wine.

Saw this poor guy being forced to read a huge poster of very small print from the wall and being punished with sprays and flour whenever he got it wrong. What had he done? Nothing! He had just graduated! Silly hats and gowns have yet to take off here. I wonder why...
