Not exactly a walk in the park!

In Huddersfield: Quite a testing day... ......

I had arranged to pick my daughter up after work and after waiting outside her college for half an hour I rang to find out that she had gone home on the bus! The college is right next to Greenhead Park so I took the opportunity to seek out a blip.

The park opened in September 1884. It's a good place to unwind, relax and enjoy the recent improvements. In 2009, a multi-million pound refurbishment project began and in September 2011 the park was officially reopened.

This is the avenue leading to the war memorial. It was originally lined with elm trees and small leaved lime trees have now been replanted.
