Cottongrass
Longer walk this morning from Edenmill up and around Burncrooks Reservoir, around 6.2 miles. Warm with a breeze and intermittent sunshine. An angler told us we had just missed an osprey flying over the reservoir, we were unlucky, it didn’t come back! We did see some greylag geese and some small birds too and some lovely views of the hills but my favourite thing was the cottongrass growing everywhere, I love their little white fluffy heads!
