Lunching with the lady

My BFF: we’ve been friends since September 1984 when we met on day 1 of the PGCE course at teacher training college. I noticed her name on her room door, cross referenced to course members and so on the first morning knocked on the door and introduced myself.
My first impression was ‘we’ll never be friends’- she looked like a fully fledged teacher in a knitted skirt and sweater combo, I was still in student mode!
We went down to breakfast together and by the time we got there we were friends forever.

Through thick and thin there isn’t anything she doesn’t know about me :)

We often walk together now I’m in Worcestershire and she’s in Warwickshire, but today decided to lunch… very civilised.
I was playing around showing my new phone settings and snapped this one quickly.
