In Memoriam

This temporary art installation by Luke Jessum has been put on The Stray, for people to visit to remember all those lost during the Covid 19 pandemic. It also pays tribute to the NHS and care home staff who risked their lives caring for others. Made out of bedsheets the installation is in the shape of a medical logo, a blue cross on a white background. A place for silence, reflection and contemplation.
We have a long drive down to Bristol tonight to see my 91 year old mum, severely disabled and wheelchair bound, whom we have not seen since last year. It’s never easy but it will be lovely to see her
