Heading for the hills

Perhaps as well that we:

were not in a hurry
were able to turn round
knew an alternative road


The sheep had been let out of a field and sent down the road. Sadly, no one had told them where they were going and they missed the gate they were supposed to be going into. The vehicle up ahead, which was trying, and failing, to get ahead of the flock, we suspect was the guy who was supposed to have got ahead of them before they arrived. The woman on a quad who was at the rear of the flock was not best pleased!! It would have been amusing to watch how they managed in the end to turn them all round, but we had to get on and left them to it. 

The other flock we came across later was all the vehicles pouring out of Center Parcs at 10am. At least one can assume they knew where they were going - perhaps.
