Only lacking blue sky

Not a clear blue sky today ...... more in the way of fairweather cloud but a lovely day nonetheless :-)

Hubby had his second shot of the vaccine early this afternoon ..... he said it felt like they used a darning needle! Good that we're both fully vaccinated now!

Supermarket shopping later & as it was such lovely weather we decided to have a walk before we had our meal :-)

Had a wander up the road & back for an hour ..... it was lovely. Spotted these red poppies at the top of the riverbank .... thought they looked lovely with the yellow buttercups & green grass ...... all it was missing was a beautiful blue sky as a backdrop ..... oh well you can't have everything! Hope you like it :-)
