He's behind you

I couldn't get motivated to do anything that should have been done today. It was such a glorious day outside so, on impulse, I decided early afternoon to go to Martin Mere. Thankfully they still had a few bookings available. 

It did me the world of good. I took the long lens and spent quite a bit of time at one hide watching the activity on the lake and practising capturing ducks in flight. I got a few I liked and found it hard to choose. In the end I decided on the fun element of this one. 

MM are now selling bird food again so I though I was going to be able to hand feed the geese, but they weren't out on the path. None of the ducks were interested in being fed. I don't know whether that's because it is half term and they've been overfed or whether it's because they've forgotten how to eat from humans as it's not been possible since October.
