Rooftop Garden

Had noticed a couple of spots on the living room ceiling the other day. I knew to that side was where our house joins next door but at different levels because of extensions. We borrowed a ladder from next door to have a look. Turns out a small garden had grown in the guttering it seems!

Thankfully next door is also pretty handy and offered to jump up and sort it all out. All cleaned out now (7 buckets worth) so fingers crossed that’ll sort it. No damaged slates etc so probably just water backing up / the moss getting soaking and just sitting there.

We bought him some cherry ripple ice cream from the dairy, his favourite, to say thanks!
