Auntie Daphne

Today we said goodbye to R's Auntie Daphne who passed away last week at the age of 93. She lived her life to the full and was such a happy, vibrant and caring person - obviously sad but happy memories of a life well-lived. We attended the funeral online and then felt at a bit of a loss. We ditched the rather mundane chores we had planned and took advantage of the sunshine to enjoy lunch at our local restaurant followed by an impromptu game of boules in the garden.
