Shaken and Stirred

A phone call out of the blue sent the day into a spin. We delayed our journey for another call, which was very helpful.

It did mean that we avoided the motorway queues, and arrived in time for “creatures of the night”, a socially distanced walk and talk around moths and bats of the local area.

In this roller coaster of the last 14 months I have found macro photography calming. So a bit of that. Our alliums are looking good at the moment. The bees agree.
