I SPY A BIRD.

Was on the canal at 5.30am this morning. Such a lovely walk, just birds singing and the smell of the hawthorn blossom. Briefly saw the swan family, all six cygnets are fine, only five it in the extra as the sixth was up ahead. The other extra was a roe deer, looked very fat or maybe still pregnant.
Got another hedge cut after breakfast, then went to see if I could find the cubs, and managed to see one which was watching a black bird in a tree.

Pretty cloudy now, but heading back to the garden, and tonight will be watching the qualifying for the GP.
