Another past concert programme & ticket memento from my photo book.


Another legend – 36 years ago today; seems such a long time ago! Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, live at St James Park in Newcastle on his Born In The U.S.A. tour. It was the closest venue to me; they didn’t play Scotland on that tour. A couple of days off work and a coach down there and back again. I remember an epic length show, and that he was everything his reputation had promised. Although he has played Scotland/Glasgow since, I never did see him again, but who knows what’s in the future?...
