March Daily Challenge - In the Distance
Day 12 of MissyMoo's March daily challenge - In the distance: What is that thing that you see far away? A bird? A plane? A small child running away? Capture it as best you can.
A little bit of a backblip for this one.
A quick shot taken on my way home of a view into the distance that won't be there for much longer. On the left you can see Building 6 of Chickwick Park, nearing completion, behind the lake you can see the pile drivers which are driving the piles in for Building 7, the final building to go on Chiswick Park. Once that is complete the view behind will have disappeared, so that gull sat on the rock will no longer be able to see it. If you look at the location on the maps in here the buildings are shown as though they were finished. (Yes AnnieandChris I've sneaked another mention of maps in!)
After getting home from work it was a panic to get some pictures out ready for the East Anglian Federation's Annual Exhibition entries - there was only one other person interested in entering in my club and I realised on Monday that the closing date is this Sunday so there were a few panic emails flying around! Fortunately, the entries were all from past entries into other things, so no printing or mounting required. After that it was down to the club to give the final part of my series on colour and colour management. I'm glad that is over, and hopefully people's expectations of what profiling will do for them are a little more realistic now, and they will understand much more why you can't achieve perfection every time. However, I expect to be bombarded with questions on a regular basis for some time yet!
