A kind of strawberry

What big wild strawberry plants I saw in the forest yesterday. I took a piece home with me, because I doubted if it really was wild strawberries. 
It turned out to be  musk strawberry / hautbois strawberry. (Fragaria moschata)  Apparently a garden plant and precursor to strawberries. 
They stopped using musk strawberry / hautbois strawberry in the gardens when the strawberries arrived, they obviously did not taste so good.
