Broad Bodied Chaser

This is the first one of the season for me and it was good to see it. I also saw some type of Darter and a 4 Spotted Chaser, lots of Damselflies and although I didn't get many keepers I enjoyed chasing round after them.  It's a long time since I went to RSPB Old Moor and during the lock- down period a lot of work has been done to add new ponds and path ways, and lots of wild flower meadows have been added plus a new garden.  It was really good to be back there and all the improvements have just re-affirmed that it's one of my very favourite places.
