After the rain

A cloudy morning, sunshine and clouds in the afternoon, mainly blue sky later.

Went down to the Co-op first thing for the paper and some shopping. Came home, had breakfast and went for a walk down the lane to get some photos.  Glad I did as the plants were still laden with water, difficult to decide which to use for blip!  My friend came round later for a very quick catch up.  Made some phone calls, had lunch, did some gardening, the garden looks better for the rain apart from some plants that have taken a bit of a bashing.  This afternoon sat out with a friend for a cuppa and chat, not seen her for quite awhile.  Went for a walk up to the church and then down the lane early evening.  I liked this collared dove sitting on the gate by the no cycling sign, made me smile and think of Admirer.
