Mote Park Lake

Back to a regular subject - the lake in Mote Park. Today, after a dull, snow flurried start the sun came out and the snow from yesterday began to melt away.

Our (near) daily walk today took us through Mote Park and although it is sunny it was bitterly cold. Everyone we saw commented on the rawness and keenness of the wind - only the brave (or foolhardy) were out today.

The lake always provides a subject, this is the third I think. I liked the way the sun caught on the choppy water and breaking up the block of grey in the middle of the shot and the darker clouds in the background.
