Daisy Meadow

We woke to a perfect summer morning- sunny, warm yet with the air feeling fresh and calm, and a greeting from a fellow blipper who had so kindly spent time this morning sketching Merlin from a blip I posted several weeks ago. What a special surprise. I have a plan to frame this and an earlier sketch of Merlin by that same blipper, so we can fully appreciate them.

The day has emerged to be productive yet relaxed. I’ve been sorting through my massage course notes, finishing pieces of coursework and practicing back massage on Andy - I have a mock practical assessment next Saturday! Cakes have been made, tomato plants have been staked and Merlin has been walked twice. As you can see from this photo, the Oxeye daisies are now coming into bloom. We’re hoping that, as in previous years, we’ll see some marbled white butterflies feeding off their nectar in the coming days and weeks.
