It rained a lot today , but by 4pm it had eased and we had a lovely time at Balranald beach.
I took lots of photos with the camera that I have not processed yet . My sister and J arrived tonight , so it has been a busy day planning what we might do this next week.
We saw a beautiful whooper swan close to the path , a short earned owl and a female henharrier on the moor this afternoon, and lots of beautiful waders on the sand near the water.
And cuckoos- so many cuckoos !
M and I went for a long walk tonight...we left the cottage at 10pm and this photo, of the loch across from the house, was taken shortly after then.
